The inauguration is coming up in just a few days. I’ve been packing my bags and getting ready to head to Washington. I understand that this Obama guy is already there, already acting like the President. What nerve!!!
Anyway, my pet human is acting as a sort of social secretary. I’ve been inundated with requests for interviews, book signings, and the like. She’s totally stressed out right now, even though I sit on her lap and purr for her. But she said to me: “Skittles, have you chosen a ball gown for the inaugural parties?
No.
Well, we went shopping! OMG, trying on ball gowns is hard work! And the gowns are like corsets! Good lord! I thought we got rid of corsets after Gone With The Wind. Or maybe before.
So I’ve narrowed it down. Here are my choices:
A stunning Vera Wang
classic St. Pucchi
or a breathtaking Yearick.
My pet human noticed these were all rather neutral colors. She’s suggesting something brighter, like red or purple. I don’t know. That may be a bit much.
