Some questions and comments have come up recently regarding Secret Paws. I would like to speak to those now.

Q. What happens if I can’t send out a gift to my Secret Paws????

A. Sometimes things happen in our lives that we don’t expect. We here at Secret Paws completely understand. If this happens, please send an email letting us know, and we will pair your Secret Paws recipient with a back up.

Q. What happens if my Secret Paws gift doesn’t arrive, but I sent a gift to my Secret Paw?

A. Please don’t be upset. Sometimes there’s a glitch in the system (usually it’s because MY pet human made a mistake! typical!) Just let us know, and we will make sure you are matched with another Secret Paw.

Q. Can the staff coordinating this fun event let us know the websites of our Secret Paws? We want to know what they look like.

A. Yes!!! The staff is asking everyone to provide a website address.

In addition, the staff will set up a special blog for everyone to upload their Secret Paws photos. That way we can all have fun seeing each other open our gifts and have fun with them. My pet human will publish to blog address a little later on.

Q. What info do you need from me to participate?

A. name, address, website, and likes and dislikes. Also if you are in a multi-quadra ped home, please indicate if you wish to participate as a household or individually.

A. Secret Paws is a fun game! You submit your name by the deadline, and you will be paired up with your Secret Paw. Your Secret Paw won’t know who you are until the big day! Then you send them a nice Chrissymouse present in the mail (under $10.00). And guess what???? You will be someone’s Secret Paw too! And you will get a Chrissymouse present as a surprise!

2. Is Secret Paws fun?

A. Of course! And it’s a nice way to celebrate Chrissymouse and make new furriends.

3. What’s the deadline for entering?

A. The deadline to enter is NOVEMBER 14TH. PUT IT ON THE CALENDAR!

4. When will I know who my Secret Paw is?

A. You will be emailed with the information before Thanksgiving.

Welcome everyone to my Hams of the Werld Yoga Class and Luau! Sorry I’m late, but the pet human was in bed for three days. She says she was sick, but I think she was just goofing off.

I am soooo excited!  Tomorrow starts the Hams of the Werld Tour to raise money for one of our very own CB kitties and kitties of the California Wildfires.

I am hosting the tour on Monday, September 7th.  Yes, Labor Day.  And in honor of Labor Day, we will have no labor!  Just a great Luau Party with Emu Pig and Yoga!

Now for information about the raffle:

I am auctioning off my pet human’s Crystal Swarovski Leopard.  She doesn’t know, so don’t tell her!!!  It’s real Swarovski and it’s dimensions are:  5 9/16″ x 1 1/8″.  This Leopard was retired in 2004.

It’s hard to believe, but it’s been almost 6 years since my pet human brought me home from Auntie April’s.  It was Auntie April who found me as a small kitten, abandoned on a naval base at Port Hueneme. (special prize to any kitty who knows how to pronounce “Port Hueneme.”)

Now, I am managing a whole household and two pet humans.  And I am the resident art critic as well.  Who would have predicted that little me, scrawny abandoned kitten, would achieve so much?

On another note, my last post was all about “The Man” who my pet human married recently.  My dear friend, Derby, The Sassy Cat, left me a comment.  He asked how was MY married life????

Well, Derby, I’m so glad you asked.  Married life is shear bliss.  SlyCat is a wonderful husband.  He recently moved to Virginia,  so we are teleporting between coasts.  Yes, we are a bi-coastal couple.  My slave pet human does all the cooking and cleaning.  Sly and I just hang back and enjoy each other.

I highly recommend marriage.  So, Derby, when are you going to marry The Princess?????

My pet human says: The Queen on Her Throne with Her Pillow!

Well, believe it or not, my pet human and the man have been married for almost 4 weeks now.  In that time I have learned some interesting things about the man.

13 Interesting Things About The Man

1.  He eats A LOT!!!  I’ve never seen anything like it.  My pet human is constantly cooking.

2.  He wakes up at 2:00 a.m. to eat cookies and milk.  Sometimes he also eats the leftovers from dinner.

3.  For a snack he can eat an entire quart of yogurt.  Just before dinner too, and it doesn’t ruin his appetite.

4.  My pet human had warned me about men and something called girlie magazines.  Well, I haven’t seen any evidence yet.  However the man has discovered my pet human’s cooking magazines.  He loves to look at the pictures!  And then he leaves them open to the photos and asks if she can cook that for him.

5.  My pet human now automatically triples every recipe she cooks.

6.  The man LOVES fruit popsicles too!  He can eat four in about 3 minutes.

7.  When the man isn’t eating, he’s working out.

8.  The man appears faster at doing household chores than my pet human, although she sort of grumbles about all her whites being pink and baby blue now.  But he doesn’t do floors.

9.  Pet Human:  Dodgers.  The Man:  Padres.  (har!)

10.  The man gets very agitated when my pet human wears her Dodger shirt, although I heard him promise if the Dodgers go to the world series, he would take her to one of the games.  I’m a witness!!

11.  The man has a huge collection of sports memorabilia.  The house is full of signed footballs, baseballs, mits, jerseys, bats, photos, etc. 

12.  My pet human makes him keep all the memorabilia in one room.

13.  All in all, the  man seems ok, but lately he’s been talking about getting a dog.  NOT!

Dear Friends of the Cat Blogosphere,

I haven’t been blogging much, mostly because my pet human has been entranced by “THE MAN.”

She is now, finally!!!, married. At last she can devote herself to my needs.

We moved about 2 weeks ago. So here I am working on some new yoga moves in my new house….without Sweetie, the Himalayan who thinks he owns every house around here.

Breathe deeply….hold….hold…….
